Morning coffee
Another crisp Spring morning sitting at my usual cafe drinking coffee and writing this post. it is quite early and I am watching people starting to come into the local town centre and shops getting ready to open. There is a feeling of calm in the air as they say, is this just because it is spring and the sun is out or is it something else?
Watching the news this morning I would say the world looks to be in a sorry state. Allot of anger allot of hate, enforcing ideologies and identities on each other. Tribalism is so damaging on our society as human beings and there seem to be so many people in positions of power that want to enforce the Tribal mindset more than ever.
“If you are differently from me or do not align yourself 100% with my values, you are my enemy and I must hurt you” Tribalism 101.
I am no tribalist, if anything I am a globalist, not in the twisted way that certain large corporations and parties think of globalism where power and control of all and everything is there ideology. No. as the stoic way the metropolitan way, where everyone is my brother and sister. You still maintain your boarders your culture, your identity etc, but an understanding that we are all human and our differences are trivial. Some environmental and the rest, well we we have just made up over time! We are one species one race, Humans beings.
This seems so simple but at the same time a near impossible reality.
